Norwegian Cruise Lines or NCL, as it is commonly known, was first established by Oslo-based Klosters Rederi A/S in 1996. Taken over by Star Cruises of Malaysia since March 2000, NCL has been a pioneer in roundtrip seven-day cruising from US and Canadian ports. All the ships have a blend of glitzy & traditional decor. With the introduction of 'Freestyle Cruising', there are multiple restaurants, bars and lounges aboard.
